Are you waiting to see who or what’s going to bring you the long lasting happiness your looking for? Have you ever once examined why it is you want what it is you want; Why would this(job) or that(car) or the other(relationship) is what its going to take…? Have you (noticed) experienced  in the past receiving something you thought was going to bring you that long lasting happiness but found it short lived and unfullfilling?

Do you hate your job?

Does it feel like a slow death?

Do you feel empty, lost or confused?

Are you going in circles?

Do you think you know your meant to do but think you can’t?

Well my friend,

Your never going to be happy in the future-when you HAVE this or that….life doesn’t quiet work that way…

I am going to reveal to you 1 of my 5 steps that opened up my heart, doors & success….

I talk about this in my chapter in “The Art & Science of Success” Volume 4 by Matt Morris & many more best selling authors….

For one you must know that I define success much differently than most….When you GROW through enough stages in life, it changes.

I’ve come across a lot in life: Large amounts of money & broke….Lived in the finest apartments & stayed in the “hood”, I’ve bought cars cash & had hard times financing, had dream jobs with less pay & horrible jobs that made me good money…

All that ‘shit (we are grown ups) felt the same…I was unfullfilled…because I was off course of my purpose. To me living in fear & not taking risks to live your passion is failing. It feels like slow death….Going after YOUR dreams & living your purpose is success. It all in how you feel about it. From experience its AMAZING..

I have come to the sudden realization that I am not the best at making decisions. I watched my mom waver back and forth about things that could potentially be where it came from. But what is life without tough decisions & making mistakes a long the way? There is not one I’ve made yet that after fully completely looked back at and have regretted, being that I am just living and learning–succeeding and failing. Might I mention all the time! But in my right mind, higher mind and my heart that I’ve grown to rely on, it has always comforted me with this underlying feeling “It’s all going to workout in the end” and so far it has in many ways.

“I’m staying in my lane” with what appears underneath the noise of my mind of mistakes and failure, is the soft spokeness of my heart of growth and wisdom.

We focus too much on outside appearances and people’s reactions of to circumstances. Pre-programmed to view or look at things without seeing it through your own “higher” perspective. Granted I am being general here but when we don’t react to, judge or see something the “way majority sees it” we’re examined or battled.

I recently read “A child that falls will look to his mother to see how he should feel about it. If the mom laughs they child will laugh and move on. If the mother panics the child will cry.”

With that being said we have a choice on how to look at the decisions we’ve made when we fall.

Ultimately, my greatest lesson learned on making the “right” choice…the best way to make a decision that has helped me with choosing a career:

The obvious:

Will I regret not doing it in my later years? Does it resonate with my values, beliefs and spirit? Does it make me want to get up in the morning and work at it all night? Is it in alignment with my dreams, goals and ambitions?
